Night Huntress Series - Jeaniene Frost

Alright so this is my first series review. The first book came out a while back. I had not read in a while after twilight but upon searching Goodreads.com I found this book and from the first chapterI instantly fell in love. The two main characters are Cat (Red-headed badass) and Bones (Devilishly-sexy...badass) have amazing chemistry, the best so far. They meet when Cat starts off as a half human/vampire who spends her life killing vampires as a revenge thing for her mother who was raped by a vampire. One night she targets Bones and he royally kicks her ass then keeps her captive. I know that sounds stalkerish but it builds a bond with them slowly as they decide to work together.

Their chemistry work so well together in this entire series. No matter how hard and long it took Bones to make Cat admit she wanted him, when it finally happned I think it was a sigh of relief for all of us because they have maintained a strong relationship since and we all somehow sensed it would happen like that..

I love Twilight but Cat is no Bella, she makes Buffy look like a girl scout seriously. Jeaniene Frost is a genius for this serious and then the spin off series that blows my mind. I love that each side character has a back story and it reveals why they are the way they're presented. Two of my favorites are Master Vampires Vlad and Mencheres. Vlad oozes sexy and he certainly proved that he is much more than talk. In Once Burned. With much detail I might add, he is powerful in and outside of bed. I loved Mencheres in Eternal Kiss of Darkness but I still couldn’t see him as sexy. I did however note him as the baddest bad ass vampire in all her series. Sadly so he outdoes Bones in that area.

So long story short this was a great book and I suggest you go to your local library or amazon and get this book!. Below I’ll list the order each book should be read.
