Georgina Kincaid - Richelle Mead

So as you can probably see I'm going down the list of series in order that I've read them. Up next is one of my favorite .. no -my- favorite Richelle Mead's series. I'm ashamed to say I found this book before Vampire Academy and Bloodlines. I'm also sad to admit that they just did not live up to this steaming Succumbus. With that being said Richelle Mead never fails to impress me with her well detailed writing and the life she gives to her characters. She had me drawn in from the start because I had never in my life thought I'd feel for monsters the way I did for the ones in this series.

Georgina Kincaid is a succubus, (an immortal creature) that feeds on other people's vital energy in order to survive. While that might sound like her first career choice would be an escort or stripper -you- are off on so many levels. The wonderful thing about her is that she is a total and completely book nerd, something we can all relate to. She goes through life lonely until her favorite author comes to the book store she works at. From first meeting they had a wonderful flowing connection that instantly draws you in wanting to know more.

Georgina is so original and the storyline is so fresh, it's like nothing I've read before and I have to say I honestly give this series five stars. I'm unsure why I've seen some lesser ratings but I suppose it depends on your favorite type of book. If you haven't read it I suggest you give it a chance like yesterday.
